Time check now...830am. sunny morning...but i`ve to stay indoors...!! :=(
who else in this whole wide world update blog so early in the morning...except me. wellz, i`m doing my COS duty till sunday morning 8am and basically, all i need to do is ans the phone if anyone were to call and eg: write down whoevers name and if they`re calling to repot sick then i juz update. or else, open room for contractors and thats all. other than that, i juz have to watch tv, DVD *without pop-corn* or use msn. it`s considered a privilege most can only imagine. but wat`s there to be envious bout, i`ve to do it alone. how low can i be feeling now...ha ha.
at least i have my carrot cake, 3 egg tarts, 1 chocolate bun and *tou hua* to accompany me for breakfast...took a pix, i`ll show u guys soon when i upload it online on sun.
ytd, went to work after camp. started work early coz i ended camp early and Steve allowed me to start earlier or else i`ll be wondering around town till 6pm b4 i start work. Thanks steve..i owe u one..lol...LIKE REAL !! i work for u and still wan me to OWE u....get REAL !! ha ha.....4 people were working and we had so much fun. ah wai, melissa, lucy and myself. It was more like fun, time passed much faster than working with sheep and boom coz it`s another kinda fun..pure fun without teasing each other. unlike those 2 rascals..but i`ll be working with them on sun 3pm-11pm so plz entertain me and help me do most of the work !!
Din do much in camp earlier in the day even though i told myself i wanna make the most out of the day. haiz...i wasn`t to blame coz my boss tasked me to research on his project and draft a proposal. wat to do, i`m his only man so i have got no choice. i`m not complaining coz he`s a very nice boss and i ought to help him. still grateful to him for approving my leave to HK.
i wanna upload some pix online but somehow, i think the army block lots of pop-ups and i dun wanna go and re-configure it so i juz have to wait till i get home b4 i can edit my posting or maybe if i can dionne online, she can do me a favour. she`s my unofficial spokeswoman / secretary of my blog !!
currently watching amazing race, this family came in last and before that, they predicted they would lose so they took their time and stop by MACdonald, bought some ice-cream. When they reach the pit-stop, they were subsequently told they were the last team to arrive But this isn`t elimination round so they`re still in the race. They seem so disappointed that they are still in the race for $1000000 - 1 million USD -..they presumed they were destined for doom but they were sort of revived. wat`s up with that and where`s ur professionalism and fighting spirit...learn from the ARMY 7 CORE VALUES...haiz...*giggle*...besides, can u juz do it for the money...!!

took an early lunch....the cookhouse was serving western food today. Chicken drumstick, rice, fish fillet, onion soup and banana. Drinks: Ice lemon tea...not bad..! who ever said army food was bad...occassionally but not always the case. Everytime now and then when there`s a survey to comment on the food, there`s 3 choices for us to click, POOR, OK, GOOD,
i always give them poor coz i think if i give ok, they would be complacent and not improved. i realised that sometimes, wat i think may not be correct. wellz, i`ve juz learnt the sad truth behind it. A poor grade would mean their pay would be deduted by the end of the month. not a lot but nominal enuff to make a diff in their life. who knows, the cook might be fired. sorry aunties...and maybe uncles..
As i mention earlier, contractors were doing stuffs in the room below right ? i came across this indian worker. life struck me as something not so fair afterall. remember wat i ate for lunch was a mere resemblance of wat he ate. this indian guy only had this load full of plain white rice with plain curry. my gosh, can u imagine, worlds apart. i wonder if he bought it by himself or his contractor supervisor bought it for him.
if it was the supervisor, u gonna be a beggar in ur next life...damn u! if not, i guess the indian guy wanted to save money and send more money home. they worked so hard and ate so little as compared to someone like me who does nothing but watch DVD and play msn and write blog while they work. and i still get better food..wat`s up with that man !!
kinda pity people like them, came all the way to s`pore to earn a decent living and yet how many of us appreciate their work. whenever we see indians or banga workers...we`ll definitely *siam* or shun from them...i mustn`t be so ignorant anymore. we`re living in such a protected bubble in s`pore..everything made available at a touch of the screen and transport is accessible...do we appreciate the difference these workers have made in our life ?? we`re so pampered and we musn`t act like we`re from a polish, upper-class society who is more superior than others. muz be humble frm now on.
ANGIE...u siao ah...went to dbL0 and drank 40 trays of "sex on the beach"...and still not drunk. my gosh, u rock man !! i remember kevin and me challenging u to drinking vodka neat at js place during his b`dae. in the end, the 2 pathetic gentlemen puke like shit...ha ha...remember ? kevin, dun act like u can drink ok..coz everyone knows u and me were *ma lu* by her that day...ha ha...
anyway, break-time...afternoon nap in camp....to be continued yet again....
dinner has passed and i`m more than 1/2 way into my COS duty. the food wasn`t great, the SFI people who were serving were down right RUDE but i`m too tired to be bothered with them coz i was having my afternoon nap.
i had steam chicken wing with veg that was over-cooked and fish that seemed dead for yrs. stink and they used mutton curry to over the stupid fish smell...1st time heard this kinda combination b4. great job and thanks for the disgusting meal. no worries, i`m getting my friend buy me mac if he`s coming back later on. he said he`s gonna come back to do some work so if that`s the case, i`ll have companionship with a guy...haiz..
poor js and me...we`ve to do duty in camp while the rest of them enjoy their weekends...but seems like everyone is busy today. monster is working too...des having his national day parade involvment. see...everyone is as busy as me...
