Today, i worked till 1pm and then went to sentosa to play "serious" beach volleyball with my 2 buddies, david and jonathan.
luckily, boom was willing to work earlier so i could leave at 1pm...thanks boom...i owe u nothing...ha ha...
Serious volleyball meant going there to compete with the people there and who cares if we win or lose, the thrill and suspense is all that matters...& not playing with those group whereby some know how to play...some ok only that kinda pattern...
the weather was looking bleak all afternoon, it was pouring when we arrived but by the time we reached the beach, we saw so many people playing and amazingly, the peoples are really gd...the gals are also impressive....we were kinda the 1st few to arrive so we formed 2 teams and played...the 3 of us partnered 2 other couple, both are ITE sch players...amazing...the matches we played were kinda tough but we manage to win the 1st 3 games against diff opponents...but sadly, we lost to to gals and 2 guys tag-team.
See...skills btw guys and gals are bout the same except for height and power diff...
the guys really don`t give face, "smash" the ball directly into the girls face and the girls are not to be outdone and outclassed, they were equally fierce and competitive...i got "smack" on my chest a couple of times...opps...hee hee...but the feeling was damn shiok coz it`s so hard to win...
Later, we all paired up to play the pro Beach style, 2 person in a team and i partnered this gal called, JOEY. hee hee....hot babe and she has got skills to show...putting assests aside, she can hold her skills against any male counter-part....
we were playing against 2 German guys....1 is currently studying in NUS (medicine)...quite amazing and the other is juz here on holiday...
freaking tall and their smashes are really hard...ha ha...kinda scary but we couldn`t lose and forever be inferior to the "ang moh" who`s FOREVER protrayed as the superior race against us asians...
moreover, i`m partnering a gal...whether u like to think that they gave chance or not...we won the game fair and sq. !!! 26-24...really hard fought victory......
we`ve sort of agreed to try to make it for regular game at Sentosa, there`s this very big group of people who goes there to play every weekend without fail and no one has anyone`s contact or etc...they juz meet up and play....even JOEY, my partner...she went there alone to play....i hope i can acc her the next time round...hee hee... 
all u "tiko peks" out there...dun have funny thoughts, we juz have such volleyball chemistry btw us la...thats bout it...
Now my entire body is aching but it`s worth it....Pes C sgt need some excercise or else my tummy will get bigger and bigger...lol....
