this show talks about life, what it is all about when u`ve a disease which can`t be cured and u know u`ll get weaker by the day but dunnoe when u`ll die. How ur friends leave u slowly but family stand by u and this particular guy who likes her so much despite her handicap and disability.
what makes a successful show apart from a strong story line...of couse it`s the main actress.
..in this case, it`s Sawajiri Erika .....sweet girl next door look that can nv go wrong and of course, the theme song that is so lovely composed, even if u dun understand the lyrics coz it`s in jap, u can feel the love in it...my gosh...!!
wat made this jap drama stand out is perhaps it`s not draggy, it only consist of 11 episodes...not that kinda show whereby the lead actress wanna die but haven`t die...then drag for dunnoe how million episode then finally die...waste of time and taking up my suspense but this show, it`s a real adaptation and it really make u think bout how life is so unfair...
at the end of every episode, there`re real quotes from the real girl, AYA who has already passed away in 1988....the quotes are fill with so much emotion and grief....sometimes, hope that is nv there...but a silver line that keeps her going till the very end.
"Why did this disease choose me? I cannot carry it if it`s just for one word, FATE."
"I really don`t want to say things such as, I want to go back to how things were before, I recognise how I am right now and I will continue to live on"

anyway, last night, i went to seletar dam to meet up with wj & friend, monster and alex. kinda surprised to see monster there...too bad js, des and ah poy can`t go...!!
monster brought tibits, i brought macdonald and we all as usual, sat at the side of the road eating and watch the noisy cars and bikes passed us by...and the ever present ice-cream uncle who used to date my friend`s younger sis. lol...long story...
now for the exciting part, i guess it`s an unspoken truth to everyone in the circle of friends...MONSTER is pregnant with little monsters...she`s hoping for twins so she dun need to go through another labour. wellz, we dunnoe if we shd be happy for her or not...she sms me last sat and as i was with js and des at pizza hut, we suddenly didn`t know how to react though i kinda guessed it and brought it up to des on the MRT.
she had wanted to tell the group bout it during the last time we were all at CHONG PANG NASI LEMAK but as boom boom and the rest of my sec sch friends were at the other table, she din bring this subject up...i guess she was shy..!!
shy still wanna make babies for wat...ha ha...!! her wedding dinner is on the 25th of dec...and apparently, she chose that day coz she likes it. no logic at all...and most pple will be invited !! incuding my dear, SHEEP !! but that cock seems to be more eager to work than go for monster`s wedding...keep saying work and earning money is important.
but he contradicts himself, he can afford to go sentosa on this sat with the sec sch bunch but can`t attend a happy occassion that happens once in a life time, and thats`s provided everything goes well btw them la...*touch wood*....guess he`s afraid sentosa close down or sink !!
anyway, I personally still think that it`s too early to get married but at least she has her stable job and income plus her b.f/ future husband seems quite gd to her so i dun think she has much to worry. all she shd know is if there happens to be a time she need all of us, we`ll be there for her...definitely.
although she can handle it by herself coz she`s so STRONG, she win all of us at arm-wrestling and can slam us...we`ll still be there for her...
poor ah poy and wei wen...they`re not the father of the baby....they muz be so sad...ha ha...
I wish monster all the best in her long road ahead as a mother and she better be a good monster to her little monsters !! make sure they dun study till primary 7...ha ha..opps...
not everyone who`s married gets my blessing, today i received a call from my sec sch friend, Jesney, she called to tell me she`s pregnant...i`m like...good for u...not surprised at all coz i worry for the kid...dunnoe wat will happen to the kid when he/she grows up...but haiz.....wat to do....people nowadays dunnoe wat the word self-protection means...and guys...condoms are not expensive...
but i applaude those who have the guts to take the responsibility for their actions even when i`m not in favour of SHORT GUN MARRIAGE...
