Speaking bout christmas, it`s always a time of giving and sharing.....wat`s important is the quality time spent with ur family and close friends....

when i was younger, i would sit by the table and eat roasted beef, ham, log cake with my relatives...and as i grow older, i`ll join my buddies for x`mas BBQ and etc...i remember those times we had so much fun exchanging pressies and etc....that was 2 yrs ago....and this yr celebration has been cancelled coz someone is getting married on that day....

we wanted to plan something similar, a pot luck or something but it has to be cancelled or brought fwd some way or the other....

Sometimes, i feel that the festive holidays are so commercialised !! the true meaning of X`mas is lost...people juz buy present, exchange present...thats it...ha ha...but good thing the GST hasn`t been raised yet...

i used to buy so many presents for people but as i grow older, I only buy presents for selective people...i dun see the need to buy for everyone and anyone...i`ve sort of drafted out who i wanna buy for and i`ve narrowed the whole list to juz 3 people & my dog...i think i`ll be buying ally a christmas dog-suit...

my mum is gonna start nagging at me to put up the christmas tree....it`s such a chore to put up the tree for the 12 days of christmas...yesh, by right, christmas has 12 days but dunnoe why people only remember the 1st day which is the 25th of dec...so superficial...ha ha....

if only the tree can be decorated all year round so it won`t be so troublesome to take it up and down....then when CYN comes, juz put some ang pao on the tree to decorate and when hari raya comes...put some green packets on the tree...and when DEPAVALI comes, juz hang some bloody roti prata on the tree can liaoz...ha ha...the multi-purpose tree !!

anyway, ytd in camp, there was a new officer who was posted to my unit for 3 months. he`s a SAF scholar who studies overseas and he`s only back for attachment...he drives a damn ah beng modified subaru WRX (expensive car)...and he`s my age but if we go by the month, i`m older...

rather envious, he`s drawing bout $2.1k a month and the pathetic me is only drawing less than half of wat he`s being paid....haiz....

Got an sms from li hua last week to tell me that she saw sheep with a gal at woodlands civic centre...then i asked him bout it, wellz, he`s ATTACHED !!
oh my gosh, i`m so shocked and happy for him...how old is ur g.f btw...sensitive Q after seeing boom and his underage g.f huh...

people dun like to get attached during the christmas periods, why ?? thats coz it means spending more $$ and etc...my camp buddies would usually tackle girls after the important occassions...so cheapskate...ha ha....

i was reading the latest copy of 8days and i came across this article bout TOM CRUISE & KATTIE HOLMES marriage...wat stuck me was the song that he sang to seranade his wife. it`s the song from his earlier movie, TOP GUN. damn nice show, i watched it when i was in p4 or p5 and i nv knew the title of the song till now. i`m so glad i found out....not many can appreciate old songs but this song is a beauty..!!
