enough bout the show....after that, we went to have sashimi at this restaurant at MURAMAR HOTEL at havelock road called, IKOI RESTAURANT. I was asking my friend who loves fine dining and good food which restaurant was good and he reccomanded me this place. I googled it and amazingly, it`s a very famous jap restaurant that many TCS celebrities and overseas celeb like to visit.
I booked it on sat night and i was told that i`ve to be on the waiting list and they can only give me an ans on sun before 3pm. this made me more desperate to try and see how gd the sashimi is coz even my booking had to be put on hold coz too many pple are eating...i was not exactly interested in the movie, the food was the most tempting part..!
bout 2:30pm, the lady called me and told me they only have bar side seats available and I couldn`t be bothered where i`m seated as long as there were seats available, even next to the kitchen or toilet would be fine for this time la...ha ha...i was that desperate !!
Indeed, i wasn`t least disappointed, the price was average considering the fact it was sashimi buffet...$30+++ which added up to bout $35 per person and we had unlimited serving of fresh salmon, sword fish, tuna, snapper, sotong...etc....anyone wanna join me the next time round ??
I wanted to bring samz to another of my fav sashimi restaurant at SIGLAP but since my friend highly reccomanded this place, i decided to juz give it a try...and i`ll be back for more but not anytime soon coz someone, being singaporean, we`re a bit greedy when it comes to buffet and we`ll juz eat tll we drop.
initially, samz and me ate 1 plate of the mix sashimi but it wasn`t enough so we ordered again as well as other stuff...then we continue odering the mix sashimi and eventually we struggled with our 3rd serving. we were the 1st to reach the sushi bar counter at 615pm but we were the last to leave the counter...so pai seh...but wat the hell....ha ha...
no complains at all except for the fact, they gave 3 complimentary dishes which gave me the impression that they wanted us to be full and we can`t continue but....ha ha...they are wrong, i ate
a light lunch so i could eat more and i exceeded my stomach space...ha ha...!!!
I`m gonna skip japanese food for a while coz it`s too much to handle...a bit sick of it due to my excessive indulgence...sakae sushi, genki sushi...etc...wat the hell....i`m nv gonna taste a better sushi place than this.
Samz....when`s our next food outing...ha ha...i`ve finally found a food buddy...ha ha...!! U rock gal...
