we went to watched this movie that happened to be showing for quite sometime, THE HOLIDAYS...it`s a really nice movie which i honestly can say it`s worth the $9.50 weekend charge.
damn you critics for rating it only 2/5 stars.....can`t trust wat the newspaper write...esp 8 days...load of nonsense....dun wanna talk much bout the movie coz even if most of you haven`t watched it, dun bother...it`s no more showing...juz wait for the DVD instead la...!! lol...
after the movie, we went for an mini shopping trip, i was searching for a beach volleyball and Samz aka SITI was telling me bout this nice nike beach volleyball so we decided to check it out....
little did i know i`d get attracted to something else in the shop....it`s a RED NIKE BAG !!
I`m gonna get it by sat when i meet js and gang...!!

The movie ended bout 8plus and we decided to eat nothing but JAPANESE food...samz kinda freaking out if we eat sushi again coz we were eating it while watching movie so we decided to get some RAMEN...of coz i only eat those highly reccomended ones...ha ha...so we went to gallery hotel to get some authentic jap ramen at this restaurant called Miharu @ gallery hotel...
the hotel is somewhere near clark quay, behind zouk and somewhere infront of CHINATOWN...ha ha...unique building with modern deco. Not ur usual kinda hotel....
reached bout 830pm and i din expect the restaurant to be sort of packed...i guess it`s the weekend so everyone is hunting for good food....
it`s a little restaurant tucked at a corner of the hotel...the ambience is perfect.....food is 2nd to none...in another word, it`s fantastic...wah piang....better than expected...
there`s only 1 particular side dish, can`t tell if it`s pork of chicken...marinated with dunnoe wat jap sauce and the taste was fantastic.
we ended up ordering 2 plates of it...and when it was down to the last piece of the 2nd plate, samz dropped it on the table but she somehow literally "washed" it in the soup and ate it...it was too good to waste...
sorry SAMZ, i had to tell the whole world bout it...ha ha..
I can`t wait to eat it again and i wonder where are we gonna eat this sat with js and gang..??
Ytd, i went to work at 6am and i managed to persuade my colleague to come 1hr earlier to take over me so i could go to sentosa earlier to play volleyball. felt bad but since he dun mind, i also dun mind paying him for the 1 extra hr...i`ll still pay him my rate of $6...lucky fella !!
Since i didn`t get to buy the beach volleyball i wanted, I decided to wait for my 2 other friends and we went to Habourfront Centre to buy the ball.
my buddy, jonathan suggested we go there and buy coz the sales assistance was cute..but turned out alright looking nia !!
or rather, not my cup of tea...anyway, at least now i dun need to go around asking pple to lend me the ball....
not ex considering the fact that it was a branded ball...i was also surprised it was only $39, i expected it to cost more...
anyway, the SENTOSA train is starting very soon, somewhere on the 15th of this month or next la...next time can choose if i wanna take the bus in or train...wonder if it`s similar to the HK disneyland train...??
i`ll definitely take some pix to show u guys...since i go SENTOSA so regularly, i decided to sign up for the SENTOSA ISLAND CARD..
$19.95 for 1yr subscription....it`s better than paying $3 every week...and i get so much discount from various places on the island...
i din know there`s a SAKAE SUSHI at siloso beach...cool huh, play finish then go eat...YUMMY !!
anyway, the wind was very strong and it was kinda hard to play...too windy and sunny, i`m kinda glad the rainy season is over !!!
so many volleyball courts were up-rooted till to the zouk out party and new yr`s eve count-down party...damn it, and there were only 3 available courts and so many teams squeezing....more than 10 teams...
the people there were either too good or too lousy...as in, when we went to challenge the super good players, we got trashed, when we challenged the other few, we trashed them till damn jialat...
there wasn`t a group that was evenly matched with us...haiz...and a few were kinda selfish fuckers, those that juz come once and fark off type...
they think they owned the court since they came 1st, when other teams won, they told the rest that their other friends wanna play and so most teams had no other choice...
most are regulars, we see them quite often so it was nice to see familar faces...
there was this particular bunch who bring their own volleyball net, metal rod and etc...they bought it from the US for bout $300 + and they bring it every week...we decided to join their yahoo mailing list so every week, we`ll vote if we`re free to play or not...
if most not free...nvm, we`ll play with the other bunch...anyone interested in joining us next time, do let me know ok ??
LASTLY, our dearest ALEX AND ANGIE are back together.....so happy for them, THIS IS AN OFFICIAL ANNOUCEMENT BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE LITTLE-RED-DEVIL !!!
