i was shocked upon readin the article bout this p6 INDIAN gal who got pregnant when she was in p3 and gave birth when she`s in p4.
now she`s in p6 and taking her PSLE while her kid has been put up for adoption...i think it`s insane to give birth at such a young age...but can`t blame her particular race...haiz....u know wat i mean...lol....
anyway, juz a fact, the world youngest mother was from PERU, she gave birth when she`s 5yrs old...crazy...it`s so impossible...happened in 1939...can u imagine ur kid and u being 5 yrs apart...!!!!
Rain is back to haunt us after the december experience....damn it !!
i was drenched when i went for my physiotherpahy at nee soon camp... i went to change my pass and i saw my sec sch mate...1-2yrs younger....and he`s staying at my block, on the 2nd floor....we know each other, seen each other b4 but nv spoke...
it`s quite weird...and he`s my neighbour all these yrs and i thought he shifted hse already...he`s a RP at the camp and he`s a bit sissy, a bit soft like MAXTON...hee hee...wellz, at least i got to know someone new....
anyway, dun feel like blogging today....tired.....nitez people....

today was quite meaningful......
I had to write an investigative report for the damage of laptop which was used by me during a parade.....actually, it`s not my fault coz they needed the parade to continue in the rain and of course the laptop will be damaged la...use asshole to think also know that it`s logic.
but someone has to tell it to the army....they only wanna see results and at the end...the parade was successfully done and i was awarded 1 off day...ha ha...gonna accumulate it until i ORD...accumulated 3 off days till now...
due to the rain, the laptop was short-circuited and i had countless electric shocks from it...juz my luck and no one wanna be hold responsible for it...my boss always change the topic when i ask him how and he says he`s not responsible since he wasn`t around.
luckily, i know this Master warrent who was willing to assit me....he`s quite a nice bloke...always helping and assisting me when i need it. He volunteered to be my investigation officer and be my witness....really appreciate him backing me...unlike my indian boss...haiz...
we had a long chat and i absorbed a lot of knowledge from him...how to be a leader and not hide behind ur men like wat most officers in army would do when they get a certain rank and status. they dun wan anything to affect their promotion and so they try to avoid all mishaps and let u die....i wonder wat will happen when there`s a war...everyone juz know how to talk cock, sing song and play mahjong....!!
i admire such officers like MWO steve wong...*salute*....!!
anyway, had to go down to SI to visit my C.O to let him sign the investigative report but i was told the cost of repair and etc has to be calculated before he can sign so i had to take it back to camp but....ha ha....i dun have to go back to camp...only need to go back tml....
early release....430pm reach home....went home, slacked and headed down to orchard to meet fiona for dinner and drinks...she`s leaving on thurs so had to squeeze sometime for her.
1st thing when i saw her was to give her a big bear hug...miss my fav. friend so much....
we had dinner at this fusion jap restaurant called "sun with moon jap & cafe"....the ambience is really cosy...seats are comfy...but the food is ex and not worth it.
i dun understand wat`s all the hype about...it`s a tues night and it`s almost packed with reservations...
the display of each dish is exquisite but of course it comes with a price...dun ask..damn ex & not worth-while..!!
samz...if you`re wondering if it`s nice...not bad but i can find better sushi at carfour or taka supermarket at that price...or maybe IKOI !!!!!
i`m paying for the ambience and the efficient cum rather polite staffs....very friendly and i muz say, all very young sch leaves or maybe on attachments from some poly/ITE...
all i ordered was an appetizer, 1 side order, 1 main dish, 2 deserts....and it`s close to $70...nv mind la, once in a while and it`s gonna be a farewell dinner for fiona anyway...
she also passed me my belated birthday pressie....she was supposed to pass it to me earlier but she was in taiwan for holiday and went to hk for CNY so my pressie was delayed for quite a while.....
alcohol AGAIN...juz when i wanna cut down on my alcohol collection....
i`m running out of space to put it and more starts coming in...i muz start clearing the 3rd compartment of my book shelf to make way for my alcohol...so sinful...drink & drink...

next month when i go taiwan, i`ll be able to buy more back from DFS on my way back to s`pore...hmm....shiok, i think...ha ha....!!!
time really flies whenever i`m in the company of good friends and wonderful conversations....we had really in depth conversation bout everything under the sun, from politics to current affairs to etc...shit...somehow, i think it comes with age to sound and talk like that....argh, so uncle but it`s really engaging...!!
it`s interesting though, imagine if i were to speak to some friends bout such stuff...they would juz point their middle finger at me...#$%^&**^& !!!
i sometime ponder wat some of them are doing with their life, not that mine is anything but fantastic, i wonder if they`ve even planned for their future and thought bout wat they wanna do in the next couple of yrs....
or they`ll be contented juz hanging and playing around with their under-age or barely legal age g.fs ??
no offence but i think they shd look at the bigger picture...continue like this or persue something more real ??
hope no one got the wrong idea due to my straight-fwdness...it`s quite selfish to be thinking of having fun today and worry later on...
next 2 weeks, i`ve to make some impt decisions in my life that once i`ve made up my mind, i`m gonna stick with it and i`m really frighten i make the wrong decision....

CNY visiting has finally came to an end for me...
although there`s still a few more days left, i`ve had enough...too much visiting is making me bored...although i`m not sick of earning more $$ from poke cards...anyone interested ??
oh ya, i also wanna learn mahjong, kevin, pls teach me so i can win all of mousy yang chen ling`s $$ !!
wellz, the last few places i went to visit was at maxton`s hse at hmm...somewhere near jalan kayu.
he`s stays near one of the minister so u can imagine how filthy he is...minister lim boon heng...i think he`s the minister for trade and finance.
anyway, this is a pix of Maxton`s lift....yesh...he stays in a 4 storey semi-D and he has his own lift in his house...!!
he`s a crazy rich boy...only son summore....no one`s perfect...thats why, he`s so rich and a bit girly...haiz...wasted...!!
but he`s a very nice gal/guy whom i love to tease a lot....and i dun feel bad bout it !! lol...
that night, i went MOVIE with kevin & ah poy....forgot to take pix...shit !!!
Just follow law.....hmm...the initial part was funny....after thatm it`s so slow and monotonous that i fell asleep....kevin had to wake me up again...i hate watching movie with them...i always fall asleep...ha ha...EVEN when i`m not seated next to desmond, i still fall asleep...lol....
the way the movie protray the gov. sector is very true, esp. for people like us who are serving NS....we`re so afraid to kenna arrow this and that....and we get back-stabbed all the time...damn it...why can`t people be civilised and cultured...??

ytd, after work, i went over to my sec sch classmate hse for CNY. he`s married to his sec sch sweet-heart and they juz moved into their new flat in yishun blk 612.
so happy to see my friends settling down 1 by 1...but it`s creepy to see his wife, whom used to be so out-going to wat she is now...always doing the dishes...chores...wash clothes and etc...and she`s only 24yrs old....my gosh...!!
most people who get married change dramatically to the extent of looking at the reflection of their mum !! it`s pretty scray but it`s a fact...
i kept thinking...if my wife were to keep doing all the household chores when i get married...i might as well marry a maid and not a wife...wat diff does it make...so domesticated isn`t good at all....!!
anyway, i juz got home from teaching my nieces....she`s having her common test tml...so demoralizing...
watever i`ve taught her, she`s forgot or only can remember part of it...and it`s her PSLE yr...i`m so demoralise....tried my best and yet, she still dunnoe her work...izzit coz my method sucks or she`s not putting enuff effort into her work ??

see now that my nieces are under performing in their studies, i feel like it`s my fault and i`m obligated to make sure they score !! stresssssss.......

this is kinda an expired entry...wanted to upload the pix and a short narration but i was too busy with work and camp....wat to do...have to procrastinate here and there...
3rd day of the new yr....brings together 3 days of happiness financially....ha ha
I went with my sec bunch of friends to frog`s house(white t-shirt) to "bai nian"...but we turned the place into a gambling den !!!!
1 yr once is acceptable by my standard...
i haven`t met up with them for quite a while due to work committments and other factors EXCLUDING honging...ha ha....
but it juz seemed like ytd since we last met, everyone is currently busy with their own life and it says for itself why we dun have time to meet....or maybe, i choose to meet more exciting bunch of monkeys...like my NYP + 1 SP gang...ha ha...
The same sec sch gang also met up at "ah heng`s" place to continue gambling...yesh...i won everything i could....sorrie guys...make u all lose 2 days in a row....lol....
at least now i`ve money to save for diving...!! "yippy" !!
The MAIN event of the 3rd day of CNY was steamboat gathering at js house.... everyone that was invited came except SHIRAZ and LI HWA...as usual, LI HWA is the aeroplane queen...maybe we shd boycott her like wat we do to ah pek...and SHIRAZ, hmm...i think we`ll give her a chance...
"Lau yu sheng"....how many times can 1 person do it ?? i did it 5 times....ha ha....Twice in camp, once during my reunion, once at 1st day of CNY, Steamboat on 3rd day...
Amazing man...and all the time, i wish to make more $$ !!! ha ha...come on...maybe i shd be more specific...as in, get rich from my career and not gambling..how much can i make a living out of gambling anyway...ha ha...??
Gambled a bit at Js house after steamboat and "lau yu sheng" coz everyone was doing it...the only form of entertainment during the festive occassion....
After that, mousy aka yang chen ling lookalike suggested going to woodlands civic centre for karaok....it wasn`t expensive...bout $26 per pax...EXCEPT for the fruits...
damn it...all they served us were 8 oranges and the receipt showed that we were charged almost $18 for the oranges...we felt so ripped off...!!
Everyone were crazy....my throat wasn`t feeling good but i had lots of fun...thats how i fell ill...still haven`t fully recover from my flu and sore throat...haiz.... anyway, i`m too lazy to go into the details except for the fact that desmond missed out so much fun coz he was preparing to go BRUNEI...by the time he`s back...i`ll be in taiwan...ha ha...!!

CNY has pretty much ended for me...i dun feel like it`s still CNY although it last for the whole 15days...it`s back to work...stress...and climbing up the coperate ladder...WTF man !!

this is the 1st ever CNY as far as i can remember that i brought my camera along and it`s by far the most enthusiastic occassion.
Almost all the cousins were around except 1 who was on holiday in thailand and another not feeling well and decided to stay at home.
Traditionally, everyone would tuck into the delicious vegetarian "mee sua" prepared by my elderest uncle`s wife.
i really love eating it every year.....it`s like the highlight of each year....
not forgetting, we all "lau yu sheng" AGAIN...ha ha...this is the hmm...4th time i "lau yu sheng"...gonna do it again at JS hse tml if i can find anywhere that sells it.
nothing makes me feel better than getting to see my 2 favourite nieces...i haven`t seen them for bout 2 long weeks and it felt forever....!!
Chinese new year is really a time for all of us to meet up and update each other on our lives...but the same old Q keeps revolves around each year....

so expected...it`s juz like a routine...u juz ans them for the sake of answering...ha ah....

the next generation of the "TAN" clan is rather small..... why ??
Reson is very simple....most of us are not settling down as yet....my children and all my cousins children will be in this group in bout 10yrs time.... Finally, we all managed to catch a glimpse of my cousin, raymond and his wife....he used to be very close to our family but ever since he got married, he has been going over to his wife`s place for CNY and hardly interact with us nowadays....it`s quite a pity...
None of us, until this moment know his wife`s name or wat does she do...she dun talk to us and mingle...unlike my other cousin`s g.f...WENDY who has been with us for 8 CNY celebrations....it feels so much diff....
i can`t say my cousin`s wife is tao, it`s hard to fit into the family all of a sudden...too big...too many people names to remember but she could have juz interacted and not sit alone at one corner... later, i`m gonna meet sheep and a few of them to go over to frog`s hse to play cards and maybe catch a movie....
hope it`s gonna be interesting....
i`m so so looking fwd to tml......
gonna have company lunch, TIM SUM at the place i mentioned b4...and then go over to my god-parents place in sengkang....

Preparation for chinese new yr is a yearly hectic event....rushing at the last min to buy new clothes and etc....
this yr was as rush as usual....i met up with samz and her friend...Jia hui for last min shopping and i finally got my eyebrows done....yesh, i went to thread my eyebrows at a shop in Orchard.
i muz say this experience was really an eye-opener...u all can call it vain-pot but i think it`s nothing wrong for guys in general to look more appealing....
it`s quite painful....or rather..VERY PAIN...but it was all worth-while...i intend to do it about once every month....WEI LING (cousin)....u wanna go with me ??
i found a branch in yishun....intend to try the hot wax face and thread the whole face next time...hee hee....!!
Samz, Jia hui and myself were supposed to do some serious shopping on fri but we spent too much time having dinner over at DING TAI FUNG that it was too late to get anything done...
we ordered quite a lot of food and somehow i ended up treating the 2 gals....i wan a treat back from u 2 someday....very soon, when u all get ur red packets....!!
After dinner, we slacked for a while and Samz and myself went to catch a movie at cineleisure.
"little children" by kate winslet...it`s a M18 show...not really empowering...it was an average movie....kinda disappointed despite the hype bout her acting...the story line was expected...plots were shallow...haiz....WTH !! After movie, it was way past midnight...thanks to the almost 3hr long movie...din seemed like it was 3hrs but it was long....know wat i mean ??
i was supposed to meet my camp mates at DblO but samantha wasn`t dress to kill so she dun wanna follow me there...SAMZ, u`re mean !!
anyway, we decided to slack at the starbucks opposite cineleisure....surprising, we had a "thing" for latte....ha ha...great minds think alike....
Vanilla Latte....wonderful....!! but when it comes to such a place, my fav. drink is afterall still EArl grey tea with Ice-cream....damn shiok...the last time i drank was the time we were all at Habour front celebrating Ci wen b`day and that cockster kevin ordered some expensive hot coffee...ha ha....remember ??
We slacked till bout 3am and decided to go home coz we had to continue shopping the next day...
and we actually did manage to wake up and did some last min shopping again...someone terrible woke me up from my sleep....ha ha...
me, samz and jia hui continued shopping till bout 430pm....and we went our seperate ways home for reunion dinner...of coz i gave samz a lift home...
18 Feb 2007..............
Reunion dinner was held over at my place for the 1st time....every yr, dinner will be held at some restaurant or hotel....bout 15 of us in total....but since my auntie who lives opposite broke her knee cap or etc....the location was shifted to my place for convenience sake....!!
actually, i found it better to eat at home than some fancy restaurant...the ambience is so much more lively...and i can juz wear shorts and not so formal....maybe coz i dun need to go out...ha ha
the preparation is so much more troublesome than in restaurant but it felt like there was more warmth....
Initially, i almost freaked out coz one of the steamboat machine wasn`t working properly and i had to open the socket and unscrew it to check...ha ah...so ma fan...but i`m glad everything went well after that....!!
this yr, it`s only the beginning and i`ve "lau yu sheng" 4 times....oh my gosh...i`m gonna get rich man....i keep wishing that i get rich soon...ah ah....$$$$$$$
Everyone grows up so fast.....although we hardly meet, the bond btw the cousins are still there...that is wat relatives aka extended family is all about....

It`s rather unusual to not be embracing Valentine`s day this year. it`s actually not a big deal for me after all...perhaps coz i`m single. lol...
at least i can save for something more meaningful......like a wonderful buffet spread or honging with my gal pals...
I know of people who dread this day coz singles always feel out-of-place if they were to go out...u see people selling flowers on the streets but they dun approach u coz u`re not with anyone and it`s gonna be a waste of their time and saliva.
My best wishes goes out to all those who are gonna celebrate with their love ones...it`s all about the feeling at this moment...1 min it`s there, the next min. it`s gone....who knows wat`s gonna happen next juz i shall try to be optimistic bout the whole affair.
all i can say is, enjoy while u still can....savour the moment and go with the flow...
guess wat, i`m gonna do to work at my coffee shop tonight...1st time working on such an occassion with a bunch of uncles and aunties...it isn`t really comforting but it`s fine.
Was suppose to go out with FIONA but i think earning more $ is more practical than squeezing through the crowded places in orchard, looking for a decent restaurant that won`t burn a hole in ur pocket...
Ytd, my camp mate came over to my place to try solve my PC. it keeps showing this blue screen which tells u that some program is corrupted and etc...seems like it`s working again, i think...i hope...!!

anyway, since it was kinda late, i decided to give my friend a lift back to camp and at the same time, stay in my bunk for the night.
din get much sleep, i was on the phone the whole night with FIONA...most of the night...this morning, my camp buddies thoguht they heard a ghost whisper last night but there was a clear explanation for the whole incident, i think it was juz me talking on my hp.
she juz came back from a holiday in TAIWAN and flying off to HK for CNY and will only be back in s`pore for 3 more days after that b4 going back to AUS to study.
I love her jet-setting lifestyle...so envious...rich people always do weird things...out of the norm that most of us are brought up thinking...i guess not everyone`s born with a silver diamond spoon. ha ha...
it`s only the Feb, but we`re planning to go to USA or CANADA to visit another close gal pal, CARMEN...then go bag-packing for like 2 weeks...free and easy....but all of these have to wait till i ORD and maybe get myself a job to support myself 1st.
So many places i wanna go and do but....time is always something i lack...and yet, i love to waste my time by sleeping....so sO s0 nonsense.....watever!!
juz got back from work...tired not by work but coz i had to go out with trina after my work...it was still valentine`s day...1 hr more and she wanted to spend sometime so i acc her and we went to east coast blue lagoon to eat and then mac to hang till bout 2am.
had a little fun...although i was really too tired to entertained....she was so down recently from her BGR stuff and her mum asked me to bring her out today...ha ah...i wonder if her mum is gonna pay me for all the $ i spent on her tonight...ha ha....
some idiots keep asking me to buy flowers for trina but i refused and she thoguht that flowers were a waste of $...not practical...look nice but die tml...pointless..ha ha...great minds think alike....

Anyone watched the 830pm interior design show on channel 8 ?? the one by Bryan wong Vs Mark lee.... i`m not a big FAN of that show but i had to watch coz my friend was on it...Jacq, the one in red tube....hmm...hot babe !!
Now that i`m 24yrs old...i feel pretty old...can`t be much of a nuisance anymore...have to be serious or else no one will take me seriously...but blogging is diff...i believe there is a child in everyone of us and expressing it is better than hiding away from the facts.....
nothing has changed since i grew a yr older...temper still as short....blew my top this afternoon when a car almost hit my PAMELA while i was on my way to SGH.....
The front of the car was juz inches away from my tyre...imagine if i got hit...i horned at him and he opened his window...after that was a few exchange of words and i pull to the side of the pull to confront this fella but he juz drove off....wasted, i din chase after him coz i was filtering to the next exit...!!
anyway, i went to SGH to get my finger FIXED...it was fractured long before our time and now that i`m covered by the ARMY and it`s F.O.C, i decided to see a specialist and i`ve to be put on this splint for 6 weeks...24/7 without fail in hope of straightening my pinky....
Dun worry, my riding is not gonna be affected at all.....still as per normal...risking my limp and bones daily is a norm !!
CNY is around the corner and i`ve yet to pack my room...wanna see how messy my table is ?? ENJOY in disbelief...!!

Apparently, i`m hooked on this new US number 1 drama called HEROES...it`s very similar to X-MEN but it`s bout how these individuals from different parts of the world discovering their special abilities....some scenes are bit gross...like this cheerleader with the power to heal herself...
she had a tree branch stuck in her head and she juz pull it out and the wound juz closed back on it`s own...the camera showed the whole process without censoring it...wah lao...it`s not a scene u wanna watch while eating...
it`s one of the more shows that has international cast...an indian guy who lives in india and discovers his powers..japanese who knows nuts bout english and discovers how to teleport all over the world and etc....
Plot is good...i can`t stop watching it...i even uploaded it on my desktop in camp so i can watch...ha ha....it`s gonna give PRISON BREAK a run for it`s money...
Speaking bout drama/anime...i`m watching 5 diff shows at a time...The O.C, PRISON BREAK SEASON 2, Gilmore girls, Eyeshield 21 & HEROS...it gets a little confusing at times coz u forget wat happened in the previous episode...and all are the latest LIVE from US ! cool huh...mediacorp is so slow....
1 thing no gd is that when they decide to show on TV, i`ll run out of shows to watch coz i`ve finished watching them all...eeekkk !!
anyone thought about how you`re gonna spend ur ANG PAO $$ yet ?? i`ve a great suggestion, donate it to me...ha ha...

I am so damn pissed off....i just finished updating my blog and my PC suddenly showed a blue screen saying dunnoe wat error and i had to restart my PC....argh........now i`ve to re-type my whole blog....argh....!!!!! such a waste of my time.....WTF !!
then power trip while i`m typing the 2nd time....NB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
muz re-type it twice...i`m damn pissed off now !!!
I`m back to wat i know best, blogging !! apparently, it has been playing a part of my life....expressing it in a way i know best....!!
This entry is dedicated solely on my b`day dinner date with trina and tricia. they`re siblings and 2 of my closest friends......
The initial plan was to have dinner with FIONA but she went to TAIWAN for a holiday with her friends so i had to settle for 2nd best way of celebrating my b`day....
Tricia and trina are definitely no substitute to FIONA.....i love them all...!!!
From the pix above, of coz u all can guess where we had dinner...IKOI again !! ha ha...i`ve been thinking bout sashimi the whole week and i couldn`t say no to it for another week so i decided to try my luck and make a last min booking...
luckily, there were 3 seats available...ha ha....so happy....it`s one of my fav. jap restaurant...
Dinner was as usual...heavenly...wonderful...awesome...no words can describe the freshness of the raw delicacies.....but somehow, before dinner, my stomach wasn`t feeling food so i din eat much sashimi...only bout 5 plates of mix sashimi...ha ha....hmm, is that considered very little ??
Unknowingly, i`ve spent bout $300....bought mininum but did maximum damage to my BANK acc....that kevin still kept pestering me bout the tim sum...h aha.....so heartless....!!!
After dinner, there was still time and we headed down to great world city for some SHOPPING THERAPY !! ha ha... i love shopping with close friends....but it`s really addictive....i don`t like window shopping...wanna shop then muz buy something la...or else the meaning of shopping will be lost !!!
i ended up buying a top from ZARA, for chinese new yr...the material was damn soft and comfy and the price is really nice too...dun ask me how much...haiz...couldn`t resist the temptation... the sleeves are a bit long so i`ve to spend it for alteration and can only collect it on wed.....
Besides the top, i finally bought a new pair of jeans...every yr, i`ll definitely buy a pair from LEVIS`, dun ask me why but whenever i look for a pair of jeans, i`ll end up going to that particular shop to find.....
This yr is the yr i break my ties with LEVIS`, samantha and myself said that once GAP opened it`s stores in s`pore, we`re sure to buy something from there and i feel in love with this pair of jeans from there....almost same price as levis` though...a bit ex but it`s the quality that matters...or maybe it`s the brand....watever the case, once i`ve bought it, there`s no turning back and i`m loving it !! ha ha...
the length of the jeans is also very long so i`ve to go Far east plaza to alter my jeans....wonder how long will it take this time round.....
The highlight of the day was when i went to BRAUN BAFFEL to collect my long-awaited wallet that i`ve sent for repair...cheap repair...only $15...
Braun baffel is a store i really admire for their service, no matter how many times i send my wallet for repair their, i always get world-class service...
The way i`m served is so world class....and the staffs are very sincere in attending to my needs...who cares wat they`ll say once i leave the store but wat i see, it`s quality service...i wouldn`t mind paying for for the service coz they`re so warm and friendly.
After shoping, we decided to chill at Ben and jerry`s ice-cream.
I`ve only been a FAN of VENEZIA ice-cream and BEN & JERRY`S is something relatively new to me....
Decided to give up my monopoly with VENEZIA and give it a try...
The strawberry cheese-cake flavour is the best...ha ha....my knees will go soft when i see strawberries...
i can`t bring myself to aviod strawberries......it`s my fav. fruit...wat to do...!! ha ah
6 scoops of ice-cream cost $19.95 and since it wasn`t my treat...i`m loving every min. of it..ha ha...
it`s kinda a symbol of my lack of b`day cake this yr....haven`t cut any yet and dun intend to...ha ha.....
My verdict of the ice-cream...hmm...very nice but i still have a soft spot for VERNEZIA...ha ha....
Since it was still early, we decided to head over to EAST COAST PARK Mac-cafe to la-kopi....it`s quite near their house so it`s fine with them....
chat bout everything we could think of till bout 2am then decided to go home....it was a really fun day and I`d love to meet them as often as possible but i`m too busy la...have to try to find time coz they always grumble i nv spend enough time with them...
haiz...girls...............wat can i say.
hey, NYP crazy gang, sorrie i couldn`t celebrate with u all coz i presume everyone is busy with army parade and exercise but nonetheless, you`re not forgotten, we`ll still meet up and maybe ch & myself will have a joint celebration of sorts for all of u ok...maybe only ah...ha ha...!!!

I went to buy the latest HER WORLD megazine from SPC petrol station coz only at SPC do they have an amazing offer...yesh, i know i`m a guy and shouldn`t be reading a female megazine but this time time, it`s because of the free gift....2 miniature bottle of Baileys` Irish Cream....most pple shd know thats my fav drink la...
Very cheap...$6 for the megazine and u get 2 F.O.C bottles of baileys`...where to find huh ??
anyway, wat`s wrong with reading a female megazine ? i find it perfectly fine...in fact, i used to take my mum`s FEMALE, HER WORLD to read...i think all guys shd read it so we have a perspective of how to become a better b.f and so our g.f will grumble slightly lesser....
too bad, my mum bought this latest edition liaoz...anyone wanna buy it from me ? i selling it at $5.95...ha ha
gals are weird creatures for us guys to understand fully, take for instance during their PMS and they get all so moody...they get angry and emotional easily...
so when u talk to them...they get agitated easily and ask you to GO AWAY, and when you stupidly listen to them and GO AWAY, they complain thatyou don`t care about them.....
wat do girls seriously expect us to do....?? haiz....
Hectic day in camp....run here and there gathering details and consolidating it for the exercise...
good thing, i`m working night shift for the next 2 weeks from 9pm- 10am daily....
dun even know if i can come home or not....juz pray hard i can do so or else, hmm...too bad to all my faithful blog readers...u all juz have to wait a bit longer...!!
at bout 11am, a super puma helicopter landed on the soccer field in my camp...quite a sight. i din know it was possible for such a huge helicopter to land on my camp field....everyone stopped their work to see wat`s going on....
later in the evening, I was having dinner in camp and i bumped into my tekong buddy, "si pui kia"....haven`t seen him for so long...still as fat as ever....ha ha...almost forgot his real name coz i`m too used to giving people nicknames....easier to remember la...opps...
wellz, So much news had been published about the soccer game at the stadium ytd, i`m so glad i was part of history :-)
After camp, a couple of us were supposed to go down to monster`s grandma funeral but dunnoe why suddenly all fly aeroplane...so disappointed, eventually, only desmond and me represented the rest of them.
we were surprised to see MAXTON there...
took me sometime to dig out a pix of desmond, maxton and myself. this pix was taken when we were in GENTING 2 yrs ago.
he`s quite soft...a bit sissy but quite a nice guy. I`m always the instigator who loves to tease him...i accidentally called him ah gua a couple of times at the funeral. sorry bro/sis...ha ha...!!
SOmething funny happened during the funeral that i feel like sharing... it`s a conversation btw me & maxton.....see ah, the funeral was typically noisy, a few singers were employed to sing some hokkien songs for monster`s gradma...

but he`s still gonna invite me to his house during chinese new yr...looking fwd to seeing the lift inside his terrace house...can`t imagine why would someone wan a lift in their 4 storey high terrace....rich people has no better use of their money than waste it in ways we can hardly imagine.....

anyway, juz a fact, the world youngest mother was from PERU, she gave birth when she`s 5yrs old...crazy...it`s so impossible...happened in 1939...can u imagine ur kid and u being 5 yrs apart...!!!!
she also passed me my belated birthday pressie....she was supposed to pass it to me earlier but she was in taiwan for holiday and went to hk for CNY so my pressie was delayed for quite a while.....
CNY visiting has finally came to an end for me...
my cousin and his wife even gave me this damn nice ADIDAS watch for my birthday cum thank me for teaching my nieces for F.O.C....
anyway, i`m too lazy to go into the details except for the fact that desmond missed out so much fun coz he was preparing to go BRUNEI...by the time he`s back...i`ll be in taiwan...ha ha...!!
this is the 1st ever CNY as far as i can remember that i brought my camera along and it`s by far the most enthusiastic occassion.
This is the pix of all my cousins from the "TAN" clan....so called "TAN clan although there were a few "seah" & "yeo"......but we`re juz one big happy family !!
Reson is very simple....most of us are not settling down as yet....my children and all my cousins children will be in this group in bout 10yrs time....

i can`t say my cousin`s wife is tao, it`s hard to fit into the family all of a sudden...too big...too many people names to remember but she could have juz interacted and not sit alone at one corner...
this yr was as rush as usual....i met up with samz and her friend...Jia hui for last min shopping and i finally got my eyebrows done....yesh, i went to thread my eyebrows at a shop in Orchard.
Vanilla Latte....wonderful....!! 
actually, i found it better to eat at home than some fancy restaurant...the ambience is so much more lively...and i can juz wear shorts and not so formal....maybe coz i dun need to go out...ha ha
Everyone grows up so fast.....although we hardly meet, the bond btw the cousins are still there...that is wat relatives aka extended family is all about....
