I`m finally back from taiwan...wasn`t a good experience at the airport and with "pamela"...shall talk more when the time is right...lol...
i realised that i had one draft which i forgot to write bout and here it goes....sorry to the 2 ladies...samz and keline...this entry was supposed to be posted b4 i went to taiwan but i guess i forgot bout it....!!

the last 2 survivor during steamboat...the rest gave up while keline and myself endured
good thing i`ve a tendancy of not deleting my out-dated pix in my camera and js had to always F me for not deleting it....thanks to it, i had a chance to view it occassionally during my almost 1mth in taiwan....
Quite home-sick....and i miss all my friends...which include everyone who reads my blog....NYP gang + 1 SP......wu fu, samz....keline.....and everyone whom i purposely missed out mentioning...
the camp food in taiwan is pathetic...fell sick so many times but coz i`m on exercise, have to continue working non-stop....the day starts from 530am and we only finish work at bout 11pm...shit !!!!!!
but wat to do, if i`m given a choice, i wun go with army ever again...not even during reservist....
got so much to share bout in taiwan but i`ve to upload all my pix 1st which i will do so in my next entry....

wellz, i`ll talked bout my arrival in singapore ytd at bout 430pm....it really felt great to be home...suddenly thought bout the song sang by kit chan entitled HOME....it`s really a nice feeling to be back home after so long....
din realised how green our country is until the taxi drove past the row of Palm trees leading away/towards the airport......i`m really back for good...
i spent 28 days there and almost everyday is a struggle....kept counting down the days and it felt like forever...even during R&R, i juz hoped that they`ll cancel it and i can take the earliest flight home....
it`s not like i can`t come on my own to travel.....why need army to sponsor.....
I was stucked in the airport for almost 2.5hrs coz my luggage was missing along with 20 plus other army guys...no one seems to be willing to admit who`s fault it is...some say it`s the army planning fault and some say it`s the airport cargo people fault...
damn frustrating to wait like a dumbass with no idea how long more it`ll take....felt like an idiot for once....
reached home at bout 7pm......"ally" was so happy to see me that she urined on the floor...wah lao....i still had to clear up the mess....!!
after that, made my way back to camp coz i parked "pamela" in camp and guess wat.....I turn on the engine and realised that PAMELA PMS....moody bitch of mine...!!
nbz....nv start engine for 1 month and battery went flat and i couldn`t ride my bike home....damn pissed off....it`s partly my fault for not passing the key to my friend to start when he`s in camp for the whole of the month....
anyway, called tow truck to come to my camp the next day which happens to be today and i had to take a cab back to camp....i wasted almost $30 on cab fare ytd and today....
went to bike shop, realised so many parts rusty due to the constant rain in s`pore for the past few weeks and had to change this and that...forked out $180 in total repair fees...so unlucky....
then went to CWP to repair my samsung hp which was somehow damaged during the army training...
drenched on my way home....
shit !!! how much pathetic can i get....

Does the food make any of you feel hungry....u better be...coz, it`s worth $16 paid after 10%.
We all suppose to meet at 1045am at monster`s hse but the timing has been changed 2wice from 11am to 1130am....coz monster forgot she had to burn incense to her grandma who passed away a couple of months back.....
and juz when we thought we could leave...everything was not done yet so we all got held back until 12pm...it was taking quite long but we din have much choice either so we juz waited....
our booking had to be changed to 1230pm instead....js drove monster`s hubby`s car and alex and me rode our bike there....
it`s so much more convenient when everyone has their own transport instead of taking MRT which is also so troublesome and a hassle on weekends...
I`m glad kevin din complain that the Tim Sum wasn`t up to standard...in fact, it`s better than the one he ate at MIRAMA hotel although it`s under the same company....we only had 1 hr to order and we kept ordering and we din know we ordered too much and we had a hard time struggling to finsih all our food...
we were so afraid the management would charge up for food wastage so we kept forcing ourselves until we couldn`t go on and decided to hack care...pay then pay la...also not say we got no $$...ha ha....
they also nv charge us eventually...haiz...if we knew, we would have juz wasted ALL the food...or order more and leave it untouch...ha ha...
after such a filling lunch, we were already thinking of where to go for dinner and alex suggested a crab stall in joo chiat...i wonder why Joo Chiat...ha ha...
wellz, after lunch...we went to Funan to walk walk...see see...touch touch....and fast-forward to the next destination...
We made our way to East coast Park at bout 3 plus 4 to roller-blade...
Everyone bladded except for monster and js...only alex and myself brought our own personal pair of blades while Kevin, Ch and mousy rented...
ALl thanks to Js, monster did not feel lonely, he couldn`t join us to blade...but he was such a gd friend...accompany monster all the way....I applaude his efforts...good job, bro !!
dun worry, the next time, we wun call monster, then u can blade with us ok...ha ha...!!
It was really fun hanging out with them...though we always goof around and play like there`s no tomorrow...it`s not the childish type that is associate with a few other of my other friends whom i choose not to name....

At east coast, while bladding down the slope...the both of them are 1st time bladding and down the slope they went....alex and me knew that they would gurantee 100% plus chop...fall down...so i shouted at kevin to let go of mousy hand so they won`t fall together..but that cock juz din let go and somehow he made MY mousy sprain her hand...ha ha....wat a coconut...!!
there were so many hot babes at East coast park, i realised that as long as it`s a weekend, every corner of s`pore is packed to the max...crowds flock to everywhere....is s`pore getting smaller or are there more foreign immmigrants invading our country.....??
watever !! this is not a babe....it`s our brother...the only one in the group who`s excused from army..ha ha...the most chio and valguar gal u can find on this planet...we all love her so much...MOUSY, i salute u...u rock our world gal...

there was a scene that caught our attention at East coast park...a little ang moh gal was riding her bike and dunnoe how, she rode it into the brushes...
her nose and mouth was bleeding profusely....was pretty terrible....so many passer-by offered to help but her parents were no where to be found...i offered a pack of tissue but seems like everyone did that already so there wasn`t a need...
i wanted to call her parents but someone did that too...haiz...seems like there was nothing we could do and since it was gonna rain....we decided to continue with our journey back so the rest can return their blades...
hope the little gal is fine now...!!
after East Coast, we had our dinner at Ajisan Ramen coz it`s not that good for a mother-to-be like monster to eat fast-food....
Anyone thinks Ajisan Ramen is nice....if anyone thinks so, i think u shd juz die !!!!!!!! damn it.....i always knew the Ramen is so pirated, not even worth eating at all but i decided to give myself a chance...shouldn`t condemn the Ramen...but enough is enough !!!

this is gonna be a very short entry....
i`ve finally gotten my retainers AGAIN...previously, lost it and it has been yrs since i last placed them in my mouth...
had trouble ordering my lunch from the coffee shop with my retainers on...haiz...
but i can take it out when i`m eating so tml`s tim sum and sunday`s steamboat won`t be affected...
i`m having trouble speaking normally with my braces on so...dun laugh at me ah !!! :)
anyway, i got a 2nd hair cut done in 2 weeks....my hair was deemed acceptable but i`m afraid the time i muz spend in taiwan, within 2 weeks from now, it`ll damn long by ARMY standard and i dun wanna get **** and given extra duty for nothing so i decided to get it cut again...such a waste of money !!!
look like a recruit who juz entered the army...damn !!

I juz got back from work....couldn`t talk properly and take the orders of the customers....then sheep kept laughing and teasing me....i`m fine with it...
but something suddenly strike me and i`ve decided to blog boout it...
I think the gap btw me and a couple of secondary friends seemed to be drifting apart...maybe i`ve grown out of goofying around and all the nonsense kinda stigma that people used to perceived us as....
I juz wished that, now that we`re almost a 1/4 of a century old...24yrs old...shouldn`t we be more mature in the way we do stuffs...plan for future....etc...instead of playing DOTA/CS 24/7....
i`m not saying it`s wrong to relax at times but if it`s your life that u`re wasting away playing games, i think it shd be put in better use...
Fiona and samantha once told me similar things, the older we grow...the more likely we are to mix of people of our same frequency and wavelength.....
example, if u`re a banker, ur obvious friends would be fellow bankers who have common topics to discuss....same goes for any occuptation....
it`s quite hard to maintain the so-called childhood friendships that are juz based on pure fun and enjoyment....maybe the problem is we meet too often and u can`t see a difference in that person over the span of 12 yrs that u`ve known each other...
it`s quite hard to understand their lifestyles and i muz say, my bunch of sec sch friends...are all late bloomers...unfortunately true....24yrs old and most still in army...some still struggling in ITE and poly....
wat does the future holds if we dun strive to carve a better future out of it...??
only time will tell.....
afterall, after weighing my options, i think i`ve made the right decision to quit the job at the coffee shop once and for all....i`m making progress...one step at a time...a step forward would not lead to 2 steps backwards....

1st day of my well deserved off....it went pretty well except for a freaking phone call i received from camp this morning !!
it woke me up and i hate it when i get woke up for nothing....apparently, it was my boss who was asking me this and that....he kept accusing me of some stuff like, how come i`m on off also nv inform him...etc.....and i called him lazy and he told me to repeat wat i said...damn it, i juz hanged the phone and went back to sleep...ZzzZzzz
good for nothing pisses me off !!!
luckily, he din call me back till bout 10 plus...when he wanted to know how to use the PA system and he called me and spoke nicely...after that, he wished me all the best for the taiwan trip...too bad, i juz hanged the phone...can`t be bothered with his bull-shit !!
after that, i went to m`sia to pump oil and headed over to my nieces house to teach them tuition...i bought roasted duck over for lunch...i`m glad they loved it....
i really enjoyed myself whenever i`m with my nieces....after lunch, gave them tuition...then my tummy was hungry again...so i brought them to Lot 1 shopping centre to buy sushi, seaweed and ice-cream....wah lan...like that also can spend $10....kids nowadays are so hard to please... wanna eat expensive ice-cream and i told them go Mac get the 50 cents one...take it or leave it...leave them with not much choice...ha ha....
ytd, i was supposed to do COS duty in camp but i hitched a plan....i know my friend was running low on his cigarette and i told him...if he helped me do my duty, i`ll buy for him 1 packet from m`sia....and i only gave him 5 seconds to tink....i knew he would say ok...win-win situation !!!
i`m always good at such nonsense....
anyway, i also brought my nieces down to play badminton after dinner...so fun....if only i have kids of my own....how nice...!!
too bad, i wun be able to see them for bout a month when i`m in taiwan...haiz....
can`t wait for the weekend...so many plans...saturday tim sum gathering and sunday, steamboat farewell....so exciting !!!!!!

Today was the most relaxing day i`ve had for ages....ever since the preparation for Taiwan, not one day has been spared until today....
had breakfast in camp and went to the Multi-purpose Hall to watch the inter unit volleyball competition.....every team from SAF were there....navy...air-force...3rd Div, 9div, Artillery...except for my division....6th division....coz we`re all going to taiwan next week...!!
damn it !!
I saw my coach...he was coaching the 3rd division...very impressive....although i haven`t seen him for a long time...i still missed his thunderous voice...he`s held in high regards in the local volleyball scene...used to be the national coach and now SAFRA volleyball team....
most teams were not good...they had the foundational skills but it was ok only...if my division fielded a team...we`ll definitely win a few matches...maybe make it to the quater-finals...ha ha...shdn`t be a prob la...it`s quite an irony...
all my sec sch volleyball mates are somehow posted to MANDAI HILL CAMP so if we were to participate, it`ll be like a NAVAL BASE sch team...ha ha....how nice....
i realised that army can be a very political place to be in....let`s juz take volleyball for example...
If you`re from Armor side...u go on course at maybe Signal....and they realised u`re good in volleyball...they can choose to not release u back to your own camp...and u`ve to play for them....by force....
then one fella who dunnoe how to play volleyball from signal side will be forced to go to another camp to make way for u....my goss, i din know such things happen...and it`s a fact !!!
it`s juz how the system works....
after watching the competition today, i realised that i`m not suitable to play competitive volleyball....haiz....coz the way they dive for the ball...my shoulder will pop out...i mean...dislocate...even my specialist discourage me from playing...but i juz can`t help it !!
anyway, after that, I played soccer with my camp mates till evening...so tiring...whole day sleep...play...eat...watch volleyball....so wonderful...!!
Ba jie asked me something ytd which i found very amusing....i was asked to stand straight and look at my toes...shit....my TUMMY IS BLOCKING view...i can`t see my toes...that is the result of too much food !!
i muz really start slimming down...ha ah....trying hard....
anyway, i`m on off on Thurs till monday...so happy...it`s a time to rest and get ready to die in taiwan....tough 3 weeks of non-stop hell and only 2D1N R&R...so little....so unfair but wat to do...

I was coincidentally juz chatting with my friend online....he juz went over to taiwan last weeks to prepare...prepare for wat...u all shd know i`m going taiwan for wat la....
apparently, the new army directives are out, we`re not supposed to blog where we`re going for exercise and where`s our camp...so if u all wanna know more then ask me personally...ha ha..!!
dun wanna be charged and get thrown into DB for blogging...7 more months...peservere !!
all i can say is that, my friend says the food there quite nice..."XXX ji pa" very big piece for $2 only and when u hungry can call the food van come to camp outside and u buy...not bad huh...
today, i had a 1/2 day training cum briefing bout being a vehicle commander when i go to R.O.C ( taiwan )....muz learn the diff road signs in taiwan and etc....i dun even know taiwan well and i`ve to be a vehicle commander...so weird...we`ll be given this so called, Veh commd pass so we`ll be eligible to be in charge...damn cool !!!
juz a rude shock in the afternoon when i went for my medical appt at AH, my nyp buddy, jean sms me....anyone was in the same class as vivian ??
besides js...who else knows her...??
wellz, i`ve got a piece of sad news...her dad juz passed away...deepest condolances go out to her family and herself....i called her this afternoon, she seemed fine but how would be when such a thing happen ??
she has always been strong, hope she`ll become stronger....

Saturday was a day to remember for all the wrong reasons...although i had lots of fun at the same time....
I went to queue up for the donut factory with samz after work @ bout 3pm and we stood in line for about 2hrs before we got our hands on the donuts...i was standing there all the time while samz went shopping....argh !!
all the cheese flavours were hot favourite and were sold before i could get my hands on it, damn it, i muz go and queue up again some other time....
so many new flavours...mostly chocolate flavours and i`m glad there were 2 strawberry flavours to choose from...
i found it quite dumb to be queueing up for so long but it was totally worth it....my verdict...8/10 for the donuts...shd try to encourage u all to line up when u all have all the time in the world to kill....trust me, u wun be disappointed...!!
we started to queue when keline called to inform us she was going to go to suntec for the IT show with her b.f and when she was done, we were still waiting for our turn...can u imagine ??
next time if i`ve the time, i`ll buy some for the NYP buddies to eat...or we can all line up and buy then sell to the others who are lining up...sure can make profit !!
we bought the donuts at the wrong time, it was almost dinner time and we din wanna spoil our dinner so we decided to wait till after the movie then eat it for supper...
went to our usual fav. ramen place at Gallery hotel for Ramen....Miharu Sapporo Ramen...so so good...!!
but the location is out of place to most people so i doubt i`ll be going there if i dun have a transport...
quite near to IKOI...but still far if i were to take BUS...

1 person was killed during a heated arguement with his colleague at Raffles city ytd.....i can`t imainge the irony...i was actually still queueing up for my donut when the whole commotion was going on...
wat was more surprising, the place that the person was killed happened to be at SOUP SPOON, which was juz a few shops away from where i was....heng or sway huh ???
anyway, we went to watch Letters from IWO JIMA at great world....the show was hmm...not bad, a very detailed 3hrs show....a bit draggy...that`s why i fell asleep during the the last part...can someone tell me wat happened eventually...i know japan lost but...hmm...how ??
maybe i`ll juz buy the dvd and watch....
We ate the donuts at bout 1130pm, and it still taste very delicious....thats keline and her b.f who happens to be a staff SGT in Nee soon camp...quite a nice fella but rather introvert....thanks for his dinner treat...din pay a cent...haiz...shd have ordered more..ha ha....kidding !!
but the drinks at mac-cafe was on Samz and myself which wasn`t much as compared to him....

Met up with trina, claire and andy for some dinner gathering that has always been discussed about but nv materialises until now....
the way we knew each other is very funny....see ah....trina is my closest gal pal...claire is trina`s good friend since sec sch dayz, andy is claire`s b.f and also my army buddy at OETI.

I highly recommand this restaurant at East Coast Road, siglap...it`s called Big Fish Seafood Grill...it`s rather famous for their Fish menu...very classy and a bit ex but it`s really worth it coz the food is very fresh....
my mum went there last week w/o me and she kept telling me so so good and i told her i`m going there with my friends and she kept telling me wat to order...but she forgot i`m not rich so of coz i can`t order all the dishes she told me too...she also nv sponsor me !!
haiz...some mum i have !! only know how to tell me wat is nice, dunnoe how to pay for me..!!

1st dish....Lobster soup each....so rich and creamy....the best western soup i`ve tasted...
Here comes the main course....some seafood platter which is quite similar to fish & Co. but since this shop has been around longer, i presume fish & Co. got the idea from them...
I wanted to order baked escargot (french snails) but too ex...haiz...wait till i drag my mum with me then i make sure she pays !!
Ytd, i treated her to Crytal Jade at Taka when she went with me to apply for my degree and still force me to buy her a belt...mean mum !!
It`s nice to be in the company of good food, cosy ambience, wonderful friends and great conversations bout pratically everything under the sun....
i kinda shamed Andy infront of Claire...i told her how we all used to insult andy and his fat ass...etc...kinda mean but it was all in the name of fun !!

Remember i mentioned that i`ve an announcement to make....hmm....it`s TIME !!! *drumroll*

Actually, i`ve been struggling with this situation for quite something and i`ve finally made a decision, i`m gonna QUIT my coffee shop part-time once and for all...no turning back, absoultely no regrets coz i`ve applied to study part-time while i`m still in NS.
been thinking bout my future and since i dun have much time on my side, i`ve decided to make the most out of the situation....requested from my camp to study part-time and it has been approved.
I`ve applied to study at UCD, University of Dublin, IRELAND....at APMI, this is the sch offering the Bachelor of Science (honours) in marketing that i`ll be taking from april 30th....there`ll be an orientation when i come back from taiwan....
i`m so excited..and this time, i`m gonna make sure i study hard...so all of u out there...plz dun ask me to go out too often...muz cut down on honging too...UNFORTUNATELY...haiz...
Everyone has their reserves when i told them i`m studying at a overseas uni, they asked me if it`s recognised or not and etc....apparently, it`s ranked 85th in the world as compared to NUS which is ranked at 92nd....
This is the last intake that they`ll accept any poly grad...the oct intake onwards, they`ll only accept poly business grad with the requirements....but since it`s so recognise and i got my approval from army, i faster signed up for the course.
and i`m not affected by the GST increase...heng sia !!
i`m a bit kiasu coz i`m afraid i can`t go in the oct intake with so so many requirements...prerequisites....ha ha...who ask me nv study hard enuff last time....
this is the famous Quinn Business sch in UCD that i`ll be getting my degree from...i might transfer to study full-time if i have enough $$ in oct...or anyone wanna sponsor me plz ??
took a loan of $16.8k so have to work hard to pay off my debt once i finish studying...it`s part-time...1.5yrs....it`s shorter than usual coz i won`t have term break...once i finish my exam, the next day will be the start of the new term...this is how they save time...
Finances will be tight from now on coz i`ll stop my coffee shop from April onwards and almost 1/2 of my income will be gone...nvm....i can always eat lesser sashimi and spend lesser...still can get by if i save....
I decided to stop working so i can concentrate fully on my studies and not work somedays, earn $6/h and suffer in future...not worth it...
anyway, I spoke to so many people from the private sector and i realised that those MNC (multi-national company) instead of the SME ( small & medium enterprise) thinks there`s no diff btw a local or overseas degree...unless i`m intending to work in the gov. sector...which i won`t !!!!
Why do gov. sector prefer local uni grad...i`ve a rational explaination to it, if the gov. dun support their own local uni, who will want to employ them ???
but have any of u realised why top A`level grad who gets scholarships and etc...all go to overseas uni instead of applying to a local uni ??
This is the food for thought.......hmm.....
wellz, watever the case is or how diff people have diff views...the ultimate aim is to excel in the society in future...this is the most impt....we shall all make lots of $$ together...!!

so much hype from everyone regarding me using MASK...
S`porean, especially MEN are so conservative...when can we be more open to the changing world ??
Do u all know that when i went to japan, there were dressing tables, hair-dryer and lots of mirrors in the men`s toilet for the typical jap guys to doll themselves juz like any gal around the world...
it was a real culture shock...they wear eye-shadow...eye-liner...foundation...and all i did is mask...ha ha....see the diff...mine isn`t that bad after all...
maybe desmond also use whitening lotion so that`s why he`s so fair...and SMOOTH !! ha ha...
hmm...due to my last entry, i realised that many people are actually reading my blog regularly and i believe the number of readers are increasing steadily.....keep it up people..!!
maybe i juz tell u more, i`ve been using mask hmm...since sec sch days..ha ha...to prevent more pimple out-break and not make it worst...and it`s not to make it better...get it ??

i went to Alexandra hospital to have a 2nd opinion for my finger...verdict is out....accept the fate, my finger is gonna be like this forever whether i like it or not...no op can be done to make it better accept for the appearance....

SURPRISED, i`m blogging way on a lazy monday afternoon...no BLUES today !!!!!!!!
ha ha....today`s the day i pamper myself with a regular relaxing body shop mask....no camp, juz pure lazying around doing nothing except watching drama, DVDs and more shows....
who ever said MASK was a female thing to do...same goes for eyebrow threading...??
the word to describe is generally known as....setrosexual...i`ve learnt a new word....
hmm...urban males who tend to do the least/minimum unlike normal gals who do it 24/7....we strive to look our best so that we will nv go past our expiry date...ha ha...

apparently, ytd after going to wei ling`s baby`s celebration, i took a trip to the doc`s clinic to stock on some anti-biotics and my usual medications when i`m going overseas....coz i`m going to TAIWAN on the 20th of this month....
i was the last patient...i went there when they were about to close...and the doc and me juz chatted bout which camp i`m in and he told me bout his NSF days as an MO....my doc was from 2PDF...
anyway, he asked me if i wanted an MC and of course i would say yes...who would say no...but i told him 1 day is enough...instead of 2 coz i sort of feel bad if i disappear for too long...hee hee...
i usually call my doc, Dr chu but somehow, when i got the MC, i reverted to the army regimental style, i said, THANK YOU, SIR....weird huh...he juz smiled at me...argh....i can`t get army out of my blood....!!!!
whole morning while i was asleep, my hp kept ringing non-stop, i haven`t returned any calls from camp coz if it`s urgent, they`ll keep jamming my phone but they only called once so i guess it can wait till i go back tml then settle....
I was supposed to go see the dentist to get my retainers done but Samantha called juz when i was about to leave hse and i told her i was going to do my retainers...
i sort of mention that it cost bout $500-$600 and kelin over-heard and told me bout this dentist at BISHAN that charges only $360....thanks babe...luckily she eveasdrop on our conversation and stopped me in time...
called up the clinic at BISHAN to make an appt on fri 1130am...then i juz merely asked the receptionist how come it`s so cheap...unlike most clinics that i called and asked for the price.
she damn guai lan with her reply but i think it`s damn funky.....i kinda like her ans...!!
"if you think it`s cheap, i can always increase my price...how much you want me to charge...juz tell me...."
we`re so used to people in the service industry being polite and when u get those straight-in-you-face kinda ans...it`s refreshing, i love it, BITCH !!

SATURDAY !!
My weekend was so s0 occupied with activities....
luckily, i`m not attached or else how am i suppose to cope with such a hectic schedule...ha ha...so...mousy, dun need to wait for me ok...!!!!!! lol...
i caught this amazingly movie at The cathay..it`s called, Paris, Je T'aime with samz
i love foreign flims, no specific reasons except for the sentiments attached as well as the way the movie is being told...unlike the usual hollywood kinda shows...
this is an amazing movie. 18 scenes of different lives in paris, all touched by love - an extremely creative venture by 18 different producers. you will love some more scenes than others, but you will love them all.
one line from the movie when this injured guy wanna pick up this gal...very orginal, maybe i shall use it someday....!!

Great match, Great babes...Great chilli fries and we ordered the beer that they brewed by themselves...very smooth...i like it but can`t drink too much coz riding...next time i`ll go again but i wun ride bike...!!
i wanted to try the strawberry flavoured beer but can`t drink too much so decide to try it the next time...i`m crazy over STARWBERRIES man !!

I was supposed to go to carmen`s baby girl "man yue"....1st month birthday but it was raining too heavily and i was really tired so i juz sms and told her i wun be going...she din reply...shit !!!

i cancelled one invitation but ended up going for another one in the evening....wei ling`s kid, reegan is 1 yrs old...see how fast time flies...

Camp was unusually quiet today.....so dun wanna go into much details...slept, wake up...eat...sleep....go home....!!!
I woke samantha up at bout 9am this morning to pester her to go with me to suntec for the career fair 2007....
if anyone of u intend to go, you`d definitely be disappointed coz it`s pretty boring...not many booths and it`s more or less the usual...as in same as last yr but with a little less booths...
the only 2 booths that most people were attracted to were the Marina Sands IR, they were open to applications for people who are interested in working for the casino and etc...so there were many people filling up application forms...
the other was this casino course for whoever`s interested to become a dealer in future...starting pay is bout $2.5...min education needed is an N level cert...kinda stupid that everyone is aiming for the future jobs at the intergrated resort...
so wat if there`s $$ to be earned...do u think it`s gonna be for long-term ? Imaing SARS or some other epidaemic were to ever hit s`pore again...recession and of coz there`ll be retrechments...so unsafe to work there...not my cup of tea anyway...
din stay too long coz my stomach was making noise...so samantha and me decided to check out this jap restaurant at suntec, next to sky garden called KUSHINBO DINNING...quite expensive...buffet style and everything seems like it`s juz quantity and not quality...so it wasn`t appealing to us...so wat if they have crab and etc....no quality assurance...so we decided to go to some other sashimi restaurant.
Samz mentioned that while she was taking bus to suntec, she passed by a authentic jap restaurant at shenton way so we decided to check it out...
it`s called..."HONJIN KUSHIYAKI"....quite ex, slightly more pricy that IKOI...we ended up paying bout $40 per pax...but it`s all worth-while....we were even entitled to complimentary drinks and we somehow "keh khiang" and ordered SAKE....
my goodness, samz was acting like a pro...order warm sake when i dun even know warm sake existed...ha ha...and i thought she tried b4...but turned out that she also nv ever drank sake b4...*faint*
wahh lan eh....wat can i say...the smell of pure alcohol is so damn freaking bloody strong...can faint...only drank 1/2 a cup and there was more than 1/2 a bottle left undrank...ha ha...
so wasted...we dunnoe how to drink and still order, we shd have ordered SAPPORO BEER or juz soft drinks instead...ha ha...
good experience nonetheless....
the varieties were more than IKOI but somehow the sashimi at IKOI is better than this one...but we had added dishes like garlic beef (kevin fav.)..ha ha...fruits....strawberry ice-cream....and many more side dishes to order so it`s equally worth it...

but they asked me how come i always bring diff gals there to eat....ha ha....my gosh, they even noticed that....so observant...they said so loudly until the other customers kept looking at me when i was about to leave...pai seh sia !!
after that, while i was on the way sending samz home, i saw this red super 4, so guai lan...cut into my lane...then i realised that the bike looks familiar and i chased after it...
ha ha....it was my friend, ah heng and his g.f !! so coincidental to see someone on the road at that hour...he even asked me if i wanna eat supper...crazy...i`m so bloated...can`t take anymore...
if i can`t get up in time due to my tummy, i`ll skip camp tml....
samz keep asking me to do more sit-ups to get rid of my tummy coz it`s getting bigger but...hmm...i dun wan to have a big tummy, i juz wan a cute little tummy...that will do !!

they owed me this laptop for almost 3 months coz my mum signed up for this max online 12000 kpbs and i got this free laptop...
too many PCs at home, i have a desktop, my bro has a laptop for sch use and a desktop, my mum has her own laptop too so we intend to sell this laptop....
retail price is at $1.7k....anyone wanna buy, price can be negotiated !!!

Saturday was a day to remember for all the wrong reasons...although i had lots of fun at the same time....
so many new flavours...mostly chocolate flavours and i`m glad there were 2 strawberry flavours to choose from...
we bought the donuts at the wrong time, it was almost dinner time and we din wanna spoil our dinner so we decided to wait till after the movie then eat it for supper...
Met up with trina, claire and andy for some dinner gathering that has always been discussed about but nv materialises until now....
Trina kept telling me the fries and salad are the best in the world...hello !! u go to a fish seafood restaurant and you tell me the fries/salad are the best....weirdo leh !!
Here comes the main course....some seafood platter which is quite similar to fish & Co. but since this shop has been around longer, i presume fish & Co. got the idea from them...
It`s nice to be in the company of good food, cosy ambience, wonderful friends and great conversations bout pratically everything under the sun....
I`ve applied to study at UCD, University of Dublin, IRELAND....at APMI, this is the sch offering the Bachelor of Science (honours) in marketing that i`ll be taking from april 30th....there`ll be an orientation when i come back from taiwan....
i`m a bit kiasu coz i`m afraid i can`t go in the oct intake with so so many requirements...prerequisites....ha ha...who ask me nv study hard enuff last time....
