i`m back from my thailand trip.........this is worst than the army marathon...imagine everyday walking from 9am till bout past midnight...lack of sleep...fatigue....exhaustion...ha ha...it was like the "death march"....so busy shopping until no time to go for full body massage....it was madness...!!!

the hotel was clean although it was only 2 star, it had all the basic ammeties and who cares, it was only a place to sleep and thats bout it, everyday, we only spent bout 6 hrs in the hotel room to sleep so no complains except for the fact the hotel staff kept insisting on changing our towels daily...very sweet of her...lol....and we didn`t wan her to make our bed everyday coz it was very messy...pai seh la...besides, everything was thrown everywhere and it was worst than my army bunk !!

in total, 10 of us were having fun....tricia (trina sis and her b.f) went 1 day ahead so we met them there and went shopping together....i`m very amazed coz they brought 4 walkie talkies with a maximum range of 5KM so we broke up into groups of 4 and each group had a walkie talkie to keep in contact instead of using the hp...so impressed...all the tourist there kept looking at us...

everywhere we went, we saw singaporeans...lol...

it`s kinda sad coz in 3 weeks time, i`d be ORDing and leaving all of them le...can`t bear with WTF...i juz can`t wait....


our hotel was located smacked in the middle of the main shopping market, Pratunam market....so it was always very happening....day and night....but too bad we din get to shop there coz we thought since it was so near, we could juz go anytime and we went to other bigger markets and the wholesale market where all the suppliers get their goods...(platinum mall)....and every shop we went to, we bought more than 10 pieces so we got very good prices.....damn cheap...reasonable...throughout the whole trip, i bought 11 tops for going out, 1 formal top for work, 1 pair of leather shoe and many pressies for other people....

i packed very minimal clothes there coz i knew i would buy lots and i really did !!! ha ha
i brought a huge almost empty duffle bag with another nike bag inside and carried an empty harvest sack...lol....and when i came back....all was full, couldn`t squeeze anymore stuff inside !!!!

everywhere we went, we had to nego the price of the goods until we felt very "song" !!!

imagine, something cost $200 bht ($8 SGD)...we always quote them a price bout 50% less...then slowly work our way upwards...ha ha.....

every meal was great....fit for a king...coz maybe we had bout 10 people in total so it was easy to order a lot of food and it didn`t cost that much...fish...crab...duck....giant prawn...chicken....etc.......and each of us only paid bout $10 SGD....so good.....

every meal was at this popular local restaurant called song bon, they had 4 outlets in thailand so it`s not difficult to tell the taxi driver how to go....so many pix of politicans eating there like the prince of japan and etc....so of coz we thought it was a very ex place but it was dirt cheap....so many varieties at reasonable prices....the waiters treat us like king...ha ha....so cool.....


see the gal on the right (in black) with a guy, thats my mdm, my 2nd in charge and her b.f...they were also quite happening with us but i think her b.f was around so she was a bit restricted and we kept teasing her...

she was quite ok when we told her that we were not going back to camp today...so funky !! lol..

speaking bout taxi drivers...i got conned !!!
usually, when i go thailand and sit a cab, i would ask the taxi to on the meter and then go but this particular driver was so fuck-up !!!
i asked him if he had meter and he said yes and when we got into the cab, he refused to on the meter and quoted us 200 Bht for a short trip back to the hotel which normally cost no more than 50 bht....we wanted to get off but he juz sped off and shouted at us...din stop at all, even went against traffic so that he could show us his ablilty.

we were kinda intimidated so we din say anything....and we kept joking with us and at one point of time, he even took his hands off the driving wheel and told my friend to drive...he refused to hold the steering wheel even when it was very dangerous so my friend who was seated infront had to hold onto the steering wheel.....nbz !

just coz we are guys, he didn`t have to be so straight fwd...keep insisting on driving us to some dirty massage palour for sex and etc....i was so pissed, i shouted back at him and told him to just go FIRST HOUSE HOTEL, i think he got the hint so he juz kept driving !!!!



that was a very terrible experience but other than that thai guy, the whole trip was in fact a pleasant experience...!

i dunnoe wat`s up with guys, whenever i go to thailand, people will ask me to buy boxing glooves which i thought was a waste of money.....but since all of them like it so juz let them buy loh....lol...i had to use it to wake them up by boxing their face every morning...ha ha...so irritating...why can`t they wake up on their own.....


everything in thailand also muz try so on saturday we decided to go to the hottest club district in thailand, it`s called RCA....it`s called royal city avenue but since we didn`t know wat it stand for initially, we called it the royal clubbing academy....ha ha...quite suitable huh....



satday night fever so muz dress up to kill....purposely bought a pair of shades and etc juz for clubbing....the sunglasses are so cheap...buai ta han !! ha ha....

another reason why we decided to go clubbing was coz it was tricia's b`day so i had to plan something special for her or else she`ll always complain i treat her sis better...lol...

i bought her a cake but it was smashed by that mad taxi driver on the way back to the hotel...but it was still presentable la....

but i`m glad she appreciated all my effort....the drinks are cheap....cover charge was free and etc...wat can be better than that....the whole place was very similar to zouk, a roll of 3 clubs and it was next to each other and it`s very much bigger than zouk....ha ah....and more fun....!!

i muz say the thai girls there are very misleading...somehow, plastic surgery there is so rampant until i can`t tell if i`m dancing with a gal or a guy but one thing for sure, they loved foreigners a lot and my friends got picked up a couple of times...ha ha....

anyway, i wanna go back to eat....somehow, my famous chicken rice stall in yishun juz didn`t taste the same, not much spice involved...argh, i miss thai food, green curry and tom yam !!!
