Tml's the interview.....gonna get trina to go thru with me the role playing tonight..ha ha....she'll interview me and i`ll juz talk and try to convince people tml....

shd i wear my tie...shd i not...hmm.....and i have so many documents to bring along, it`ll be weird to carry my harvest sack along if i`m wearing formal...lol...hmm....and i`ll be riding bike down so i hope it doesn`t rain or else i`ll be dead.....praying hard....

now at siglap helping my mum tend her shop then later going down to samz place to pass her the gift...hope she likes it....

i think for the next few weeks, i won`t be blogging so often liaoz....only when i see a need to then i`ll blog cause i`ll be so busy with exams preparations....

js, good luck for ur common test too...dun disappoint us oki !!!

ytd had house warming and then next sat, i`d be having another wedding celebration to attend, my uni classmate is getting married to this korean and it`ll be the 1st time i`m attending a wedding ceremony which i presume would be a korean traditional one or maybe the usual type......??

we shall juz wait and see....

different group of my friend is now in bangkok shopping and one of them called me to ask me where is fun and so happen that they`re at platinum mall which was juz near my hotel and my camp mate left his boxing glove in the hotel so i got my friend to go to the hotel and collect his gloves back for me....lol...such a small world and it`s amazing wat technology can do nowadays........thanks david !

woke up early to do some revision coz ever since i came back, i`ve been lagging behind my revision and better buck up......


later in the morning, i went to pick my sec sch friend at AMK and headed down to another ex classmate's house warming....she juz got married not too far back and her husband was also from the same sec sch.....3 yrs age gap but so what...they still got married eventually....

the reception was quite good....but the location was in some relatively new estate in sengkang called Edgevale...can u imagine u tell the taxi driver and he`ll think u`re trying to be funny...but the hses there are cheap....so it`s very affordable for 1st timers...a 5-room flat is only 210k....cheap to the max !!

anyway, saw a whole bunch of ex classmates and it was a nice gathering catching up and seeing how everyone is doing, i realised next yr, 3 diff sch mates of mine are getting married in sept, oct and nov respectively....so it`ll be a very busy time of the yr....ang bao !!!

there goes my $$$$........since i shd be working by then, i ought to give more than i usually give la....have spending power liaoz...but i heard that the 3 couples who are going to get married wouldn`t be going for each other's wedding dinner coz of some stupid customary chinese tradition....apparently, 3 months before getting hitched, you can`t attend other people`s wedding...i think it`s a total load of crap.....

btw, one of my classmate asked me to be in his group of brothers...u know the kinda that go over to the gal's house on the actual day of wedding and he asked me to be his driver...eh, i`m gonna be a chauffeur...shd i be happy or insulted...i spoke to my friend bout it on msn last night and she told me i shd be happy...but we aren`t that close so i`m quite surprised he asked me to tag along...but nvm, wth...at least it`s gonna be an eye-opener....!!!

oh ya, my friend's new house doesn`t have a bed, why ???

coz of the weird tradition again, haven`t have chinese wedding dinner can`t buy bed and my friend's parents insist on that so when i went to view their bedroom, all i saw was nice furnished deco and a lame piece of mattress on the floor....my other friends still told me that was the modern concept to save space and make the house look bigger....nbz...i got con....load of crap...!!

after house warming, i went home to change and then went to my niece house to teach her tuition.....her PSLE is next wk and this few days will be intensive tuition, after next wed, i won`t be able to go over so often liaoz...gonna miss my nieces from then on but they wanted me to promise them that i`ll still go over to play with them and etc....haiz...kids are so adorable nowadays.....

couldn`t make it for the night activity.....the crazy gang was holding a celebration for alex at dunnoe which KTV but most likely at woodlands civic centre la...ha ha...i think they had lots of fun as usual.........i had to go home and study and kinda watched a bit of soccer till bout 3am...ha ha....so happy, my manchester united won....

i`m kinda pissed at SCV for rising the prices of the telecast of matches but wat to do, i`m a slave of SCV and i need my weekly dose of soccer so no choice...lan lan also have to continue to subscribe and watch....

i spent the whole morning in camp searching for jobs at jobstreet, jobsdb and monster.com and sent out countless resumes.......i`m lucky to receive more than 10 calls and this made me realised that the job market in s`pore is currently very healthy....not diff to find a job....

made appointments for 5 interviews on monday...so i took 1 day off so that i can go for it...a couple more jobs interviewers called but i really can`t slot anymore in so i had to tell them that i`ve to get back to them again...lol...this is the result of sending out too many resumes at a time...and i can`t even remember which company i sent to so when they called and told me which company they were from, i`ve to act as though i could remember...so cute !!!

part of me is contemplating if i should go for the interview coz if they decide to recruit me, means i can`t have a break after my army and i`ll be having exams all the way till 27th Oct so if i were to start work earliest also in nov...but wat to do, i need to feed myself so gonna juz work and see how it goes....

i always knew that there`d be a CPF deduction from my pay and now then did i realised that it`s 20%....can u imagine i can paid $2.2k and my CPF contribution is $440...how much $ would that leave me with...argh....if i`m only paid $1.7k...alamak...eat grass ah.....it`ssuch a competitive environment out there...no wonder everyone calls it the "dog eat dog world of reality"

I was supposed to meet trina for dinner but got a late call from wei ling to have a last min dinner gathering for alex b`day...so no choice la, can always meet trina other day...lol....

this leaves me to wonder....why are the activities plan so late nowadays...ha ha....but nvm, i`m juz glad i got to pass everyone their pressies except for poy....i totally forgot to bring his out, it wasn`t a deliberate attempt to leave him out.........i was glad vernon was able to wear the polo ralph top i got him....i wonder if regan could wear it...?

everyone's gift was bout the size of their usual top except for kevin, i over-estimated his size so i think he muz eat a bit more or else he`ll have trouble wearing the top....his top is the most ex and haiz.....i wonder if i can see him in it...


anyway, went to the Taste of thailand restaurant at Chong Pang....bout 11 of us in total....2 new faces that i`ve nv seen b4....but somehow, we all juz talked bout anything as usual....crap to be exact....ha ha.....we all treated alex to dinner...wasn`t that fantastic coz i juz came back from thailand and got to taste some authentic thai food so i needed a while b4 i accustomed my taste bud back to s`pore style thai food...and i also ate it on wed so a bit sianz...but it was still great in the company of good old friends as well as new ones....

there was prawn...tom yam...chicken...sotong....fish....veg....hot plate bean-curd....etc...food glorious food waiting to savour...a feast worthy of a KING...ha ha.....
after that, as usual, we headed to the beancurd place near chong pang nasi lemak for round 2 dessert..........it`s quite unusual coz after so much food, we still managed to order lots of stuff at the beancurd stall.....u see ah, if we were to meet at the chicken rice place, we`ll definitely go to the ah lian dessert but whenever we`re at the chong pang vicinity, we`d automatically go over to the beancurd place....

made so much noise everywhere we went and had a ball of time together...i`m juz glad my room is less messy...cleared most of the gifts except for a couple to be given out on sunday.....
