Mixed feelings now although i got a job already.....btw, i`m starting work somewhere at the end of the month, the dates are not confirmed as yet cause the boss wan me to concentrate on my exams 1st...nice new boss.
anyway, the 5 interviews i went were quite smooth sailing, one company gave me the job on the spot but i told them i needed to think about it 1st, another 2 asked me back for a 2nd round of interview which i definitely dun have the time to do so and another company juz called me bout 1/2hr ago, on fri to confirm me but i already agreed to the 1st job....
see ah, the company that i already gave them my word that i`ll be working for them is a medium size establishment but my aim is to work for a big MNC company and i wanted to wait and see if they wan me or not...but they called me too late and i was quite disappointed coz if they called me earlier, i would definitely agree to the position..i always had this dumbshit thought that i`d like to be one of those asshole who take the MRT and alight at Raffles place in my suit and go to work...ha ha...
now, guess it`s out of the Q, my workplace will be in Holiday Inn Hotel, opposite zouk which isn`t a bad thing if i think bout it coz i can get free entry all day and juz get my drink and go home...ha ha....
i`m should be glad with this current job, i`ll be working as a Human resource Consultant, basic pay of coz is a sensitive issue, enuff to survive but if u ask me, i think i deserve better...but the commission is high if the applicant i send to the big companies for interview is successful, i`ll earn more lor....so i`ve to think if i wan high basic low commission or the opposite.
anyway, my boss, Justin is supportive of me studying, he even allow me to go on paid study leave if i were to show him my exam results every term. of coz can`t be borderline marks la....gonna be a stressful yr ahead !
although many people say the 1st job is a stepping stone, i still feel sour about rejecting the big company, JAC, on the phone juz now...argh !!! i muz keep my word to the other company.........damn it, although i`m still looking fwd to working...i really hope i made the right decision.
gonna source for more long sleeve top and a suitable working leather bag...wonder if there`ll be anything nice at Braun Buffel?
